You bet you can. This requires the official Soundboks charger or a 65W USB-C PD compliant power supply.

Yes, of course you can.

Is the old charger compatible with The Battery?
No, the old charger is not compatible with The Battery.

Does The battery work with all existing Soundboks speakers?
Yes, all of 'em.

How long does it take to fully charge The Battery?
It takes 2 hours to fully charge The Battery using The Charger (our official charger).

Can I use any charger that fits to charge The Battery?
For sure, but it might take a bit longer. Depending on the wattage, it can take up to 18 hours to fully charge The Battery. Ours only takes 2 hours.

Why doesn't The battery come with a charger?
In short, this will help reduce electronic waste and encourage people to use their existing USB-C chargers. That's definitely a good thing, if you ask us.

How much of The Battery is used to fully charge a phone?
About 20% of its capacity.

How long does The Battery last?
This hasn't changed from previous designs. It'll last 40 hours at mid-volume with any Soundboks. When you turn up to 11, it gives you 6 hours for the Soundboks 4 and 8 hours for the Soundboks Mix.

Why doesn't my Soundboks come with a charger?
Due to the EU Radio Equipment Directive, the Soundboks 4 no longer include a charger. This policy aims to reduce electronic waste by encouraging the use of existing USB-C chargers. If you need a charger, you can purchase The Charger separately.
